I also ghost write in the press and in publishing.My TV work includes a recent commission from BBC Studios for a Pinteresque sketch which I wrote and performed with my writing partner, Georgia Mackenzie as part of the upcoming Sky Arts documentary, PASSIONS: DANNY DYER ON HAROLD PINTER. The project has rolled into an online series, ‘DIRTY LAUNDRY,’ currently being shot by director Ian Denyer.My first go at writing resulted in an option from Tiger Aspect for a sitcom inspired by my husband’s complete lack of social awareness and its negative impact on my standing in the community. My second sitcom was developed for TV and by Impatient Productions for radio. The teaser for my third, IDIOTS, co-written with Georgia Mackenzie, has just been produced with Justin Edwards, Ruth Madeley, Ken Collard and Matt Steer. I’ve just finished the pilot for a brand new sitcom - THE GOD LIFE.In July 2020 I was selected from over 200 writers for one of six slots on ERA 50:50's ‘TellHerVision’ Project - an all female writers room supported by ScreenSkills using National Lottery funds awarded by the BFI as part of the Future Film Skills programme, in partnership with the Comedy 50:50 initiative, supported by Times Up UK and led by professional comedy mentor Joanna Scanlan.I write regularly across a range of genres and platforms including gag writing, online content, treatments (everybody’s favourite), live work and TV ads.
