I am a very experienced and successful creative, currently Director of Content & Development at Open Mike Productions and Mike Drop Studios. Working in development, and as a producer and writer, I have experience in comedy, factual, entertainment and fact ent, and I have devised, developed and won commissions from many broadcasters.

I have extensive experience in managing development teams, and I enjoy nurturing fresh development talent. I am hugely experienced in pitching ideas to commissioners, and I have a particular talent for writing proposals and devising and formatting ideas. I produce and host quiz run-throughs, including on camera. I have devised and developed several programmes which I went on to produce and write.

I have good working relationships with all UK channels, great industry contacts, and have been on judging panels for the Broadcast Awards. 

My most recent responsibilities at Open Mike have included Executive Producing our collaborations with Chris McCausland – ‘Wonders of the World I Can’t See’ and ‘Chris McCausland Live’ for Channel 4, and ‘Seeing into the Future’ for the BBC.

I am also spearheading the company’s drive into creating YouTube and online content under the new Mike Drop Studios label, utilising my extensive comedy contacts and creative production experience to forge a new path to monetising content creation away from the traditional broadcasters. Read Less
