I am always looking for opportunities to develop my knowledge and experience in this role further. I really enjoy working as part of the AD team and assisting the 1st AD in running the floor, being that point of contact between them and the 2nd AD, as well as guiding and encouraging the runners in their work.

I understand that each production has its own challenges and I feel that I thrive off of the stress that this can bring and it allows me to use my experience on set to solve the issue or find an alternative solution, which I like to do whilst communicating with my team (where appropriate). I thoroughly enjoy setting background and working with the director to see what they like or don't like in order to compliment the main action of the scene. I also find it very important to have a good relationship with the script supervisor in order to help with continuity when dressing background this in addition to the notes I make myself make the job a lot easier.
