I am a recent graduate who is keen to gain experience in television production. Over the last three years I have been involved with well over a dozen amateur and semi-professional stage productions as a writer and performer. Through this experience I have gained an in-depth knowledge of show production at all stages, from a project's initial conception, through to its actualisation on stage or screen. One of these projects, the Cambridge Footlights International Tour Show, was an eight-month-long commitment that toured the UK, Canada and the US. I was one of the senior members of the cast and it was therefore my responsibility to maintain a positive and productive disposition, despite often having to work late into the night or in transit. I worked well within the small, tight-knit group, but also had the opportunity to liaise with publicity designers, photographers and theatre managers at venues including the London Comedy Store, The Second City in Chicago and UCB in New York. More recently I have worked as a runner on a short film set, where my responsibilities included setting up camera kit, taking charge of equipment and catering deliveries, keeping communal areas tidy and looking after the cast and crew. I have also just finished a run of my two-person show, Final Cut, a multimedia comedy show. The show involved a great deal of video and web content and producing this content allowed me to hone my filming experience. I am also an actor, and recently appeared in Sky Arts' "Urban Myths" as John Lennon. I am looking for Runner, Production Assistant and Junior Researcher positions and I am available to work immediately. Read Less
