My excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, were formulated during my years as a BBC Researcher and Assistant Producer when I was required to contact and converse with a hugely diverse range of people. I learned to be polite, friendly and professional at all times – something I habitually practise every day. I have experience of setting up, directing and post production of short film shoots and have worked on many television programmes in several production roles for the BBC, Company Pictures and La Plante Productions for ITV.As a Question Researcher for Remarkable TV's quiz show 'Pointless' I have used my creative, research and writing skills to transform ideas into a wide range of interesting brain teasers. I have acquired knowledge and understanding of the need for detailed and accurate source materials for thorough verification.At the National Film and Television School, Greasepaint and The Iver Academy part of my work involved pastoral care of my students which included involvement in many difficult aspects of their welfare such as financial or family problems, lack of confidence and anxiety. This experience was further increased when, as Manager of the Agencies at Greasepaint and The Iver Academy, I was responsible for assisting and supporting our students as they embarked on their unpredictable freelance careers as make-up artists in the creative industries.My extensive curriculum vitae illustrates my ability to multi-task under tight deadline pressures, to prioritise and to be proficient at all times.
