As an experienced researcher, with proficiencies in all aspects of television production, I would undoubtedly make an immediate contribution to any studio. Recently, I worked for the show Judge Rinder; I was responsible for independently sourcing guests using a variety of platforms, including social media and news articles. The role required impeccable organisation and communication skills, as deadlines were very short and frequently concurrent. I thrive in these environments, and within my first two weeks I had secured two stories for the show. As a result, I was given the opportunity to assist on shoot days. This included preparing guests for filming, completing production documents and briefing colleagues.Through completing my Broadcast Journalism MA, I have created a holistic set of skills, both technical and professional. During several work experience placements, I was able to assert myself as someone who is always willing to contribute thoughtful and creative ideas. At ITV Tonight I was tasked with both researching and pitching ideas with Shiver Productions for ITVs 8pm programming as well for c5 and E4. In my feedback it was highlighted that I already had the maturity and drive to work with experienced researchers and journalists. Read Less
