CineFringe is the Film Festival of the Edinburgh Fringe – the biggest offering of Film Art at the largest arts festival on the plane - and they're currently accepting entries for this year's festival.
Now in its 3rd year, CineFringe fills the hole left by the International Film Festival, programming events and short films specifically for the Fringe. Organised by a small, hard working team with a passion for independent film, the festival’s reach and remit is ever growing in its quest to give film a voice at the combined Edinburgh Festivals.
CineFringe showcases independent film makers and is completely free to enter. It is open to anyone and with few entry conditions. So far they've welcomed micro-budget sock puppet horror film parodies on equal footing with slick lottery-funded drama shorts.
