On 9th December Creative England will open applications for the second year of Compass. This high level intensive business development programme delivered by DV Talent is designed to help executives and producers build, manage and lead successful film companies. Developing a solid business proposition with the support and guidance of John Bates, Head of Entrepreneurship at the London Business School is a key feature of the programme. This year Compass is opening up to entrepreneurs across the film value change, throughout development, production, sales, distribution, exhibition, emerging content markets and beyond.
As an introduction for potential applicants Creative England is offering a free ‘taster’ event to coincide with the launch of the programme. ‘Are You Fit To Run A Film Company?’ will be held at The October Gallery in Bloomsbury, London between 3pm-5.15pm on Tuesday 9th December.
