Welcome Back is a FREE event at the BBC on 5th November, a Creative Skillset funded initiative delivered by BBC Academy and the TV Collective - it's all about supporting and training BAME professionals seeking to return to the television industry.
The aim of the day is to encourage, equip, and empower BAME professionals to re-enter the TV industry with confidence and up to date knowledge and to facilitate networking through practical help, inspiration and advice. BAME people represented 7.4% of the total workforce in 2006, compared to 6.7% in 2009 and 5.4% in 2012.”
