Workplace: London - studio/office based 5 days a week
3 Month Fixed Term Contract
Role Summary:
As a Studio Runner for MultiStory Media - Daytime, working across Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women. You will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our daily live show. Your responsibilities will range from administrative tasks to direct guest support, ensuring that every aspect of the production runs seamlessly and provide essential on-set support which includes purchasing props, prepping on set, arranging set furniture and providing general support to the studio floor and production team. We're seeking a highly organised, proactive, and efficient individual with previous live television experience to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Coordination: Collect guests from reception and escort them to the appropriate areas, providing them with welcoming and professional experience.
Newspaper and Script Handling: Sort newspapers for the production team and manage script printing, including compiling script front pages.
Travel Arrangements: Coordinate and arrange travel logistics for guests, ensuring their transportation from the studio is smooth and timely.
Dressing Room Management: Ensure that all dressing rooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained for guests and talent.
Green Room Oversight: Attend to guests in the green room, ensuring their comfort and addressing any needs or requests they may have.
Gallery Support: Assist the crew in the gallery by providing necessary support during live production.
Release Forms: Responsible for getting all necessary release forms signed by guests and contributors.
iPad Maintenance and Distribution: Manage the inventory of iPads, distribute them to the crew as needed, and ensure they are functioning and charged.
On-Location Support: Be readily available for any filming outside of the studio, including outdoor performances and segments, providing logistical and operational support.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
Previous experience working in a live television studio environment.
Familiarity with the pace and demands of live production is essential.
Previous experience at Runner level with at least 2 credits.
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; proficient in using technology and office software.
Highly proactive, flexible, and able to work well under pressure. A problem-solver with a positive attitude and a team player mindset.
Flexible approach to work as you will be working to a shift pattern which will include early mornings, weekends and bank holidays.
