WORKERBEE are looking for an experienced SELF-SHOOTING SERIES DIRECTOR for a premium SVOD doc series with talent. A proven track record in obs doc and talent-led reality is essential.
The ideal candidate will have strong visual instincts and the ability to create a premium visual identity while leading the editorial creative on location in close collaboration with the senior team. Exceptional self-shooting skills are essential.
You should be highly confident working with talent and contributors, with excellent instincts for access, story and character. We’re looking for someone editorially sharp who can think on their feet, shape story arcs as they emerge, and find the emotional core of a scene or sequence.
The role requires exemplary people and talent management skills, calm leadership under pressure, and the ability to get the best out of contributors and crew alike. Strong communication, organisation and a good sense of humour are essential.
Dates: 1st June – early February 2027.
Filming: Mainly in Surrey & London (including weekends), with the potential for periods of filming abroad.Company Name
