PD (Self Shooting)

Description

Mentorn Media is looking for an experienced self-shooting PD with strong editorial vision, to oversee a compelling, 2x60’, sensitive crime documentary (UK story).

The role will involve maintaining trusted relationships with contributors, self-shooting on location and weaving a complex narrative of highly sensitive testimony, actuality, archive and atmospheric reconstruction.

You must have a proven track record of delivering sensitive access documentaries, be confident working with vulnerable female contributors, creating an environment that enables them to share their testimonies with care and self-shooting to a high standard. You will also have experience of working with archive and atmospheric reconstruction.

The 2 edits will run concurrently (7 weeks offline/ep) to deliver on schedule. Based in our office in Hammersmith but filming on location. Starting in August until end of November.
