Description

A Place in the Sun is looking for a Spanish speaking senior researcher/location AP available to travel to Spain from 19th April till 29th May 2026. You will be on location for 6 weeks.

The role will involve recces and shoots around Southern Spain and 3 days paid training is offered in advance of travelling.

The successful candidate will be able to think on their feet, be highly organised and confident driving on the RHS (you must have held a full driving licence for at least 12 months). Fluent written and spoken Spanish is essential for this role.

You must have a valid passport and ideally an EU passport (so there are no restrictions on the amount of days you can stay in the EU), but as long as you have a valid passport and have enough days left to be in the EU for approx 41 days then your application is welcome.

You will be supporting the PD on location and need to be across every aspect of the schedule from logistics and gaining access, to securing permits, dealing with agents, looking after house hunters, research and scripting. Ideally you are a confident shooter too as you will be required to shoot B roll using the FX6.

The ideal candidate will have experience of location work and the role will involve being on location for 6 weeks at a time.
