Description

Haven Light Productions Ltd is seeking an experienced Line Producer for The Keys, a professionally produced 10-minute scripted social-impact drama exploring coercive control and domestic abuse.

The film has a production budget of £30,000 and will shoot across two principal locations in Gravesend, Kent over four consecutive days in late January 2027.

We are looking for a highly organised and practical Line Producer to take responsibility for the financial, logistical and operational delivery of the production, working closely with the Executive Producer, Director and wider creative team.

The role will include developing and managing the detailed production budget, production planning and scheduling, sourcing and negotiating with crew and suppliers, coordinating locations and filming permissions, equipment and production logistics, insurance, risk assessments, production paperwork, cast and supporting artist logistics, catering and transport, cost control throughout the shoot, and production wrap and financial reconciliation.

The Line Producer will be physically present in Gravesend for all four shoot days and will oversee the practical running of the production throughout the shoot, ensuring that all relevant contracts, releases, location agreements and production documentation are properly organised and handed over at wrap.

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong scripted narrative drama experience. Credits on drama for established UK broadcasters or production companies would be highly desirable, although substantial independent scripted-film experience will also be considered.

Experience delivering high production value within independent film budgets in the region of £20,000–£50,000 would be particularly relevant. Knowledge of Kent and/or South-East London crew, suppliers and filming infrastructure would also be an advantage.

The subject matter requires a professional, respectful and supportive production environment, and experience working with sensitive dramatic material would be beneficial.

The Fee: £4,000 for approximately 18 working days in total, spread across pre-production, all four shoot days in Gravesend, and production wrap. The four shoot days are included within the 18-day commitment.
