Executive Producer
Description
This is a full-time, senior editorial role sitting at the heart of Persephonica's entertainment slate. You will be the lead producer voice across multiple shows simultaneously, working closely with world-class talent and small, skilled production teams. You will be responsible for the quality of every episode, the commercial health of each show, and the audience growth strategy across audio, video and social platforms.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who can hold multiple shows in their head at once, and who never lets standards slip - whatever the pressure.
Key Responsibilities
You will oversee production across a small number of high-profile entertainment shows, ensuring each is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard.
You will be the key point of contact for the talent on each show - building strong, trusted relationships and bringing the best out of your hosts in every recording.
You will sign off all content, bringing sound editorial judgement, a thorough knowledge of media law and a sharp eye for what works.
You will work closely with the commercial team to deliver sponsorship and brand partnerships that feel genuinely native to each show.
You will identify and lead on growth strategy across RSS, social platforms and YouTube, with a clear instinct for audience engagement.
You will manage and develop junior members of the production team, creating a positive and high-performing culture.
You will work with our Development lead to contribute ideas for new shows and formats as the slate evolves.
Requirements
You will have at least five years' experience producing successful entertainment, comedy or music podcasts or radio shows at a senior level.
You will have a strong track record of working with high-profile talent - managing relationships with warmth, professionalism and confidence.
You will have demonstrable experience delivering commercial partnerships and sponsorship campaigns in an editorially sensitive way.
You will have a 360 approach to podcasting - across audio, video and social - and a genuine passion for growing audiences.
You will be highly organised and flexible, with the ability to manage across multiple projects and priorities simultaneously without dropping the ball.
You ideally have a good understanding of video editing to assist in any last minute amendments.
You will have strong knowledge of media law and editorial best practice.
You will have excellent communication skills and a collaborative working style.Company Name
