Development Producer / Development AP

Description

Award-winning Glasgow-based documentary production company Specky Productions are looking for a part-time Development Producer or Development Assistant Producer to work on some exciting new documentary development for international broadcasters/ streamers..
The contract will be for one month initially, with possible extension to two to three months. Start date January 2026.
Necessary experience:
Proven track record of commissions with streamers and PSBs
Proven track record of developing documentary formats
Track record of creating really compelling pitch decks (writing, visual design, and presentation)
Formidable research skills
Strengths with dealing with contributors.
Ideally with the following experience:
Celebrity booking
Comfortable using new tools and technologies to support research and development
Investigative experience including difficult compliance.
Shooting and editing tasters
This is a working from home position, thought there will be regular in person and meets and contact with the team.
