Description

Gardeners’ World, the UK’s best-loved gardening programme, is looking for experienced Researchers with a love for horticulture and this long running series.

Working closely with the senior team, you will perform a range of diverse and exciting tasks, from gardening research that includes unearthing interesting locations, stories, props and contributors.

You will need to be a great communicator with exceptional research skills and the ability to liaise with presenters and contributors, provide support for the edit and generate creative ideas for future programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, excellent organisational skills, a proven ability to meet deadlines, and experience of preparing for and managing edits. You will be a confident driver, with a clean driving licence, and be prepared to travel to work on locations across the UK.

Contract Dates: 22nd February – September 2027 subject to greenlight.
Base: Bristol with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
Closing Date: 4th November 2027 (midnight)
Contract Type: PAYE Freelance
