STV Studios is looking for a Glasgow based Casting Researcher to come on board one of our successful, established factual productions.

Start Date: 21st September 2026
End Date: 30th October 2026
Contract Length: 6-weeks
Location: Glasgow – Office Based

The ideal Casting Researcher will be a confident communicator who is quickly able to build trust and a good rapport with potential contributors. Candidates should be comfortable carrying out high-volume outreach across a wide range of platforms and communities.

We are looking for a Researcher with a strong instinct for finding great stories and contributors. Experience of casting for factual programmes involving sensitive or personal stories would be particularly valuable. Researchers should be confident in writing contributor biogs, as well as assisting to create casting taster tapes to reflect the stories being told.

The successful Casting Researcher will be a real team player who can hit the ground running and work well with their Casting AP, as well as maintaining a good working relationship with their Producer and the wider team. You will be working in the Glasgow office at Pacific Quay.
