    CTVC Design Assistant

    Location: Manchester (with some travel and location filming required). The office operates on a hybrid basis and is 4 days from the office and 1 day from home.
    Start date: August 2026. End date: March 2027

    CTVC are looking for a highly creative and organised Design Assistant to join our team on the upcoming series of BBC Live Lessons – an exciting educational series aimed at 7–11 year olds, aligned with the UK National Curriculum.

    As Design Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the visual and creative execution of 8 half-hour lessons and help to create accompanying teacher resource packs. From graphic design and image manipulation to prop-making and set dressing, you'll support the production team in bringing lessons to life in fun and engaging ways.

    Key Responsibilities:
    * Source and organise materials for design and production needs
    * Create and manipulate graphics using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate
    * Prop-making and dressing sets in line with creative briefs

    Essential Skills:
    * Strong visual creativity and eye for detail
    * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Procreate
    * Hands-on experience in set dressing and prop-making
    * Ability to work to detailed design briefs with speed and precision
    * Excellent organisation and effective multi-tasking across multiple episodes

    Desirable:
    * Experience working on children's or educational content
    * Experience collaborating closely with an Art Director
    * UK driving licence
