DIGITAL EDITOR
Reporting to: Senior Digital Producer
Location: Hybrid / London, Shepherd's Bush - 2 days per week min in the office per week.
Availability - Start ASAP (end of May 2026 latest) for 3 months. Please include your exact availability in your cover letter.
Salary band: 30k - 40k

Banijay UK Social Studio is a newly formed central team with a remit to promote Banijay UK’s extensive library of content on social media platforms, working across both marketing and monetisation priorities for the business to create best-in-class digital content
You will be part of a highly creative and collaborative team, working across a range of Banijay UK's biggest titles, including Would I Lie To You, Peaky Blinders, Deal or No Deal, Location Location Location, MasterChef and more.
ROLE
As Digital Editor you'll be responsible for producing a range of video content - from short-form creative or trend-led videos to longer compilations - ensuring all content is optimised for a range of social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
You will be experienced in using Adobe Suite to produce high-quality content that adheres to editorial standards, working collaboratively with Digital Producers and Senior Digital Producers to ensure everything you create is optimised for audiences and platforms alike. Your remit will also include creating engaging thumbnails and ensuring all content adheres to accessibility standards.
A keen interest in the latest TV shows and a genuine passion for exciting fans through gold-standard social content are key, as well as being a creative thinker.
RESPONSIBILITES
Producing digital content for social platforms, including optimising archive content for digital audiences and creating bespoke digital content
Creative ideation for digital content
Optimising content to be platform specific - including metadata, thumbnails and meeting accessibility standards
Quality control and peer-review of work for other producers and editors
SKILLS
Strong Adobe suite skills including Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects
Excellent editorial judgement
Working knowledge of social platform best practice, and crucially the differences between social platform output
Ability to come up with creative editing solutions and concepts
Digital native who lives and breathes social media
Excellent time management when working across multiple projects.
