Job Title: Local Shooting Producer/Director

Production Company: Big Circus Media

Production: BBC2 series about dog training

Location: East Neuk of Fife, Scotland (KY10 3EZ, near Anstruther)

Dates:Prep Day: 11th May (remote) or another day close to the shoot, to be agreed

Shoot Day: 12th May (on location)

We’re looking for an experienced Shooting PD to join us for a one-day shoot, plus a prep day, on an exciting new BBC2 series focused on dog training.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead filming on location, working independently to capture visual content
- Direct contributors and capture natural, engaging moments
- Collaborate with the team to ensure strong storytelling and coverage

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shooting PD on factual or factual entertainment formats
- Strong track record working with contributors (ideally families and/or animals)
- Confident self-shooter or experienced directing camera ops
- Calm, adaptable, and great at putting people at ease
- Experience working on BBC or similar broadcast projects preferred
- MUST be at ease with dogs
