Apply now for this career enhancing Series Producer opportunity at Bright Productions on a brand new relationship series for Sky. This role is part of the Sky Future Heads development programme. We are looking for a Senior Producer wanting to gain their first Series Producer credit. This is a step up opportunity and we are looking for Producers who do not have any Series Producer credits.
This placement is primarily covering the pre production and filming period, you must be available from 13th July - 27th November.

Job Description:
Reporting to the executive producer, the series producers are responsible for the day to day management of a series ensuring its editorial, commercial and financial success. They are expected to be experienced programme makers with a strong track record in successfully leading all aspects of a production: editorial, logistical, commercial and team management.
Minimum Criteria:
Experience managing challenging casting, compliance, and storytelling at scale
Proven strong editorial judgement
Excellent communication and writing skills
Key Responsibilities:
To provide creative leadership to the editorial team, guiding them through production of the series, demonstrating sound editorial judgement and subject sensitivity within editorial guidelines throughout.
To line manage and work collaboratively to visually drive content both in terms of style, scripting and structure encouraging innovation, on-going creative renewal and high production values.
To work closely with production management and finance colleagues to manage and mitigate events as they arise through production and take appropriate action. The ability to work in partnership with production management colleagues to achieve editorial ambition within budgetary and legal constraints
Act as key central point of contact between executive producer and wider production team at all stages of production.
Good management skills. Effectively and proactively manage and develop direct reports, monitoring performance and giving constructive feedback. Be able to implement good working practices to create a positive and inclusive working environment, addressing inappropriate behaviour where required
