Runner
Description
Do you thrive on the chaos of a torn-up schedule and enjoy the faint but persistent smell of livestock? Can you navigate uneven terrain carrying three coffees, two walkie-talkies, and a sack of PPE?
We’re on the lookout for a Production Runner to join the team on a long-running Farm-based, Fact-Ent format.
The Job:
Keeping the production team, crew and talent fuelled, hydrated and organised.
Expect days where you’ll be ankle-deep, and occasionally knee-deep in mud and muck.
Helping maintain calm when things go spectacularly off-plan (which they will).
You will go here, there, and everywhere to get whatever item is needed to get a shoot to work.
Happy to split time between office days in London and shooting days in Oxfordshire.
The Person:
A self-starter with a strong, independent work ethic. You won’t always get instructions, but there is always something to do.
Someone who prides themselves on being well organised. You’ll be the go-to person for a plethora of weird and wonderful inventory requests, and you’ll be expected to know exactly where things are.
A team player who genuinely cares about others and keeping morale high, even in the wind and rain.
Someone who is not afraid of hard graft, early starts, long days, or livestock-related surprises.
A person who is practical, proactive, and able to think on their wellied feet.
See’s the funny side of calamity.
Someone who can drive is essential. Sometimes on roads, sometimes off.
Bonus points if you:
Know your way around a farm and the countryside, or at the very least know the difference between a sheep and a goat.
Can make a decent cup of Bovril under pressure.
