    *Production Assistant / Junior Researcher to join education and documentary production company on projects including work with Nobel Laureates*

    Location: London (Hybrid – minimum 3 days in office, 2 days from home)

    Start Date: ASAP, 3 month rolling contract
    Freelance Rate: £30,000 (FTE)

    Are you an ambitious, motivated production assistant and junior researcher, looking to grow your skills and experience? You will work across logistics, technical and editorial departments, supporting all sides of production. This is a freelance position for an initial 3 months and then on a rolling monthly contract.

    We’re a fast-paced, creative production company working across branded content, documentaries, and educational content and courses. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of production – from logistics and kit management to research and social media. As we are a small company, no job is too small - BUT the upside is, no job is too big either - you will get experience you would never get at a larger company.

    Note: We are looking for people who are interested in social impact films and with a background in the areas we work in. Please read our job description carefully - generic applications will be rejected.

    The ideal candidate:
    - Understands and has a passion for current affairs and research (ideally with a background in these areas)
    - Understands and has a passion for new forms of media, including social media and AI

    Key responsibilities include:
    *Production Support*

    -Sourcing crews and shoot locations
    -Liaising with talent, clients and contributors
    -Supporting production logistics and research across various projects
    -QCing edits, checking against client feedback, and QCing subtitles
    -Prepping kit for shoots
    -Assistant / running duties on shoots
    - Receipts and expenses management for shoots


    *DIT & Kit Management*

    - In-office 3 days a week (where needed) to manage data and back up footage (we several projects that require data wrangling). Our office is London Bridge.
    - Consolidating and recycling hard drives
    - Selling and recycling excess and unused kit
    - Selling archive hard drives back to clients

    *Social Media & Courses Support*

    - Assisting with content creation and scheduling for social media
    - Supporting online video course-related admin and coordination

    *Key skills and attributes*

    Detail-oriented and self-motivated
    Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and priorities
    A confident communicator with great organisational skills (Google Sheets / Excel is a must)
    Keen to grow in a creative, hands-on environment
    Confident dealing with high-level individuals, academics, clients and contributors

    *Need to have*

    - Right to work in the UK
    - Registered as self-employed

    *Ideal to have*

    - Full UK driving licence
    - Experience in production or media, but enthusiasm, initiative and a strong work ethic go a long way.
