    Job Title: Social Media Content Editor

    Job Purpose: The Social Media Editor will edit engaging, platform-optimised content for The Repair Shop across social channels including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, and TikTok. You will shape compelling content that will resonate with diverse audiences and support our programming objectives.

    Hybrid working pattern - three days in the Brighton office and two days working from home, with the option to work in the Brighton office five days a week.

    Salary circa £30,000 per annum.

    Your Impact:
    In this role, you will:
    • Cut high-quality, compelling video content for our branded TV pages: from short-form, snappy social clips to long-form features and cutdowns
    • Apply a wide range of editing styles and techniques tailored to different audiences and platforms
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, reporting progress to senior team members and ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
    • Stay ahead of social video trends and champion new ideas to enhance our video and social content strategy
    • Where required track and analyse social media content and performance across platforms, creating reports and providing actionable feedback to senior management and production teams to guide future edits and content decisions.

    What We’re Looking For:
    • Experience producing a wide variety of content, including compilations, short-form series, memes, and more
    • Ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously and deliver on time
    • Strong attention to detail, and high digital and computer literacy
    • Confidence in working across a range of TV genres or a willingness to learn
    • Comfort with receiving and implementing feedback to continually improve creative output and audience engagement
    • Experience producing graphics and still-based content is a plus, demonstrating versatility across different digital formats
    • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic workspace

    Essential Experience & Skills:
    • Solid understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, Photoshop, and template-based editing
    • Experience in a similar role at a digital media company or in a production environment is highly desirable
    • Must be able to share examples of previous work you’ve created, either from personal projects or from previous places of employment
    • Socially native, with a deep understanding of what content audiences engage audiences online, and the ability to apply these insights to campaigns
    • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Some experience in original content production and shooting is a plus
    • Knowledge of After Effects and Motion Graphic work is desired but not essential
    • 1–2 years of experience in content creation and/or editing role
