Assistant Producer (AP)
Description
Windfall Films are looking for a Mandarin-speaking Assistant Producer to join our team on a high-end archaeology documentary series for National Geographic. The series will follow archaeologists in China on their new excavations this season.
The ideal applicant would have experience working on factual history / archaeology / science documentaries, knowledge of Chinese history (our topics cover 1700 BCE-1500 CE), as well as a positive attitude, keen eye for detail, and meticulous organisational skills.
The role would involve speaking with archaeologists and historians in China and elsewhere, gathering excavation information, setting up shoots, and completing research for scripts using published sources.
Exact dates are TBC between April-June 2026, with further details to be discussed at interview. The role would be hybrid office/home, with the team being in the London N1 office together 1-2 days per week.
