Role: Science Researcher – Children's science, anatomy and human biology series
Dates:13th April until mid July 2026.
Location: Location and studio (we invite applications from Scotland based candidates too).
We are looking for a Science Researcher with a passion for medical science and a knack for bringing complex ideas to life in a fun and engaging way.
Key Responsibilities:
-Working with Science Producer to source compelling medical science stories and research that will engage 7 to 12-year-olds.
-Secure and manage access to leading scientific experts.
-Scripting science beat sheets, turning complex ideas into concise, engaging content.
-Working with Science Producer to develop visually interesting experiments and demonstrations to explain ideas – knowledge of whizz-bang science experiments is a plus!
-Conduct fact-checks and verify medical research.
-Working closely with presenters, scientific experts, and contributors from all walks of life on set (studio and/or location).
-Support production with self-shooting VTs – shooting experience is highly desirable but not essential.
-Well supported collaboration within a dynamic team.
-Experience working with children on children’s shows is a bonus.
