Production Accountant

Description

Final Pixel are seeking a Production Accountant to help us for an exciting shoot this Spring! The role is for an 8-week period, including a 2-week shoot in April. Immediate start desired. If interested, send us your CV and any questions about the role you have.

Responsibilities include:
- Xero accounting records ownership
- Ownership of the production cost manager
- Produce regular and accurate cost reporting in Excel, including on a weekly basis during shoot and wrap
- Ensure all vendors, cast and crew are paid in a timely manner and in line with agreed payment terms
- Ensure production compliance with all relevant legislation, HMRC regulations and union agreements (including Equity and BECTU)

Skills and experience include:
- Proven experience as a Production Accountant on film or TV productions with budgets exceeding £2m
- Strong working knowledge of UK production finance processes, including cost reporting, payroll, and cash flow management
- Willingness to attend the production office in Shoreditch regularly during prep and wrap, as well as on-set during shoot (located just outside London)
