Camera Assistant
Description
Zigcam Film and Television are looking for an experienced full-time staff Camera Assistant to work at one of London’s premiere facility companies. Ideal candidates will have worked in a kitroom with location experience in the camera department, and a working knowledge of all current broadcast multi-camera systems.
Previous experience working with Current RMS Asset management software would be beneficial.
This position would suit those who thrive in fast-paced creative environments and can work flexible hours. A working knowledge of Adobe Suite, DaVinci, After Effects and/or Unreal Engine would be desirable.
Responsibilities of the role will include (but are not limited to):
* Prepping and maintaining camera and lighting equipment
* Maintaining an organised workshop and kitroom
* Loading, transporting and setting up camera equipment on location
* Supporting the camera department at base and on location
* Building and rigging kit for studio shoots
* Updating social media platforms
This role is an excellent opportunity to work across exciting, diverse projects, with direct exposure to broadcast, corporate, commercial and digital productions.
The ability to drive is essential for this role. Please state if you hold a clean driving licence and have experience driving vans.
