We are looking for Edit Producers to work across a 6 x 30’ talent-led dating series for prime time BBC One.
The series is a constructed documentary, shot and cut with the style and tone of a comedy drama. The edit needs to feel authored, filmic and distinctive, not like standard dating or formatted factual.
These are tight 30-minute episodes. Pace, judgement and clarity of storytelling are essential.
The Role
• Shape two 30-minute episodes from a strong constructed doc base, balancing story, character and tone.
• Maintain a clear editorial vision while collaborating closely with the Series Producer Director and Exec team.
• Keep episodes tight, purposeful and cleanly structured for a 30’ slot.
Required Experience
• Proven prime time experience as an Edit Producer on fact ent or constructed documentary series.
• Strong comedy instincts and a clear editorial voice.
• Experience delivering authored, talent-led shows rather than purely formatted factual.
• Excellent narrative judgement and pacing.
• Comfortable working at speed while protecting quality.
