Senior Researcher

Description

Joy Peddlers are looking for a Senior Researcher/Junior AP to work across a range of new and established projects. The role is editorial, and will involve research and planning across multiple productions, working closely with producers, presenters and senior editorial staff.

Previous podcast/digital experience is not required. We welcome applications from TV researchers and Jnr APs with a background on productions or in development.

This is a fast-paced role for someone who enjoys shaping ideas, finding brilliant contributors and supporting the development of standout content. The ideal candidate will:

- Have excellent writing skills, particularly for briefs.
- Be experienced in researching and speaking to a wide range of contributors sensitively and confidently
- Be proactive, organised and confident juggling multiple projects at once
- Be comfortable working on fast turnaround series
- Have a genuine passion and knowledge for podcasts and digital content
- Be a clear, confident communicator on the phone and in meetings

Start date 19th Jan for three months with a view to extend
