    We are looking for an experienced Producer with a background in specialist factual/architecture & engineering to work on a returning series for Smithsonian Channel.

    Your primary role will be overseeing the research team, preparing pitch documents for stories, assessing contributors, and developing complicated access.

    You will also need to demonstrate the ability to structure and script stories, taking complicated ideas and turning them into interesting, understandable and entertaining television.

    This will be a very busy production with multiple teams shooting simultaneously in different parts of the world. You will have experience of working to tight deadlines on similar productions.

    You may be required to support the edit and experience of overseeing final post will be an advantage.

    You will have credits working in primetime for major UK broadcasters and/or on prestige projects for channels such as Smithsonian, Nat Geo, and Discovery.

    The project is being produced from our office in London 4-5 days a week where you will be based. This involves being in the office when not on location.

    Contract is due to start in January and run until mid July. Please include any pre-booked holidays and your rate.
