    RESEARCHER – WINTER OLYMPICS PROJECT
    January – February 2026
    Worldmark Films – Remote / Chertsey Office
    Worldmark Films is seeking a Researcher to support our production team on a major project covering the Winter Olympic Games, with the contract running from 5 January to 22 February 2026.
    The role is central to preparing athlete interviews and supporting the editorial planning for crews filming across Milan, Cortina, Livigno and other associated locations. You will work closely with the producers and production coordinator in the UK, helping shape the athlete stories we capture during the Games.
    About the Role
    Based in the UK, this position is hybrid, with a mix of remote work and time in our Chertsey office. Key responsibilities include:
    Reaching out to athletes and their representatives to arrange interviews
    Conducting background research into athletes’ careers, achievements, and Olympic history
    Developing and refining interview questions that focus on the athlete’s story and Olympic journey
    Preparing briefing notes for producers and camera crews
    Tracking communication, scheduling interviews, and maintaining clear records
    Assisting with day-to-day production and editorial tasks as required
    Please note:
    Prep period (5–31 January): standard working hours, with some flexibility required based on athlete availability
    Games period (1–22 February): the role will require working 22 consecutive days
    What We’re Looking For
    Strong research and writing skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication
    Confidence when liaising with athletes, representatives, or press contacts
    Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
    A proactive, problem-solving mindset – someone who takes initiative
    Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
    Comfortable working with cloud tools (Google Drive / Teams)
    Able to work both independently and as part of a team
    A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
    Happy to work 22 straight days during the Olympic Games period
    Desirable:
    Experience in sports, documentary, or events-driven production
    Familiarity with winter Olympic sports
    Location
    Hybrid: remote working with occasional days at our Chertsey, Surrey office (close to transport links).
