Overview
Join TM for an energising evening designed to help you stay connected, informed and visible within the industry. We’ve brought together senior executives, recruiters and key organisations to create a high-value networking experience open to all freelancers. You’ll hear directly from senior leaders across three focused webinars to gain practical career advice and up-to-date guidance on what work looks like across genres and industries:
- We’ll go behind the scenes with ITN Productions, with senior management including Ian Rumsey (Managing Director of Content), Zara McFadden (Talent Executive) and Sarah Lavender (Line Producer), offering insight into the programmes they’re producing, how their teams operate, which roles they’re recruiting for and what they look for when hiring across editorial and production.
- Our digital session brings together Adam Mitchenall (Head of Production) and Grace Evans (JPM) from Zandland Productions and Erica Stein (Senior Casting Producer) and Alice Humphries (Producer) from LADbible to explore how ideas are developed for online audiences, how digital teams are structured and what skills production companies are looking for as they expand into branded and platform-led content.
- Finally, for our scripted webinar, we will be joined by the team behind BBC's The Walsh Sisters, Dixie Linder, CEO of Cuba Pictures, Series Director Ian Fitzgibbon and Associate Producer Sammi Willets who will be telling us all about developing and delivering high-end drama - from commissioning relationships to building creative teams and navigating the path from script to screen.
There will also be plenty of space for more informal networking. Meet organisations supporting freelancers, drop into the Fluid Zone for relaxed community conversations or join the 1:1 freelancer speed match ups for more serendipitous industry connections.
Whether you’re looking to expand your network, explore new areas like digital or scripted, or simply reconnect with the community, this is a valuable opportunity to put yourself in the room.
