Course Content
This one day course is ideal for researchers, APs and DV directors looking to hone their directing skills, and ensuring a smoother ride in the edit. It covers techniques for filming sequences that tell a story and work in the edit and offers tried and tested tips and techniques for success. The course will look at both controllable action and unpredictable, observational filming situations, edit points, how to cover two-way conversations and interviews as a lone shooter, and other common challenges for self-ops. The course is about improving directing skills as a self-shooter and will be taught using XF305s or a similar camera.
