Overview

An intensive course which provides a grounding in the key principles and practices of the work involved in film production management. Over 4 days; 2 face-to-face and 2 online (including 2 evening sessions TBC), delegates will complete the course with a full understanding of the crucial elements of being a PM, such as effective scheduling, practical budgeting, location work as well as essential soft skills; working effectively with your team and cast under fully up-to-date industry guidelines.

The course will be run by highly experienced Line Producers currently working in the industry alongside veteran trainers with a wealth of experience of feature film and television drama productions.

This course is supported by ScreenSkills using National Lottery funds awarded by the BFI as part of the Future Film Skills programme.

Delegates will be carefully chosen after completing an application process by DV Talent, in partnership with The Talent Manager.

ScreenSkills will be working closely with participants to assist in setting up paid 5-week placements, shadowing on a production. We anticipate around half the cohort will be found placements.
