How can I fill up my "Credits" section if I do development work?

I've done some really great development internships and through them have done work for some really great labels, however, the done thing when you work in development is that you don't really (unless you are very very senior) get a specific credit for anything as you work in a team. This is very annoying as it means I can't apply for things on here. Is there a way I can fill up my credits section to reflect my experience so I can apply for work?
