How can I get my foot in the door or/and land a longer term job?

Hi all

I’m currently trying to break into tv/film/commercial world I’ve had a bit of experience mostly freelancer runner and camera trainee work. But I’m not working enough and most weeks I have no work. I’ve had my CV looked at by industry people and tweaked I’ve got emails of BBC/ITV and other companies that I email every month. But I’m still no closer to landing a job.

Is there anything else I can do to improve my chances? Thank you.
