After 6 months DV Talent’s CC-TV scheme – a pioneering ‘mini-MBA and mentoring’ training programme for the upcoming generation of leaders in the TV industry - came to an end with a bang with a wrap party at the Union Club in Soho. It was an evening of laughter and catching up with oldfriends from around the industry.

Exec Coach, Claire Brigstoke; CCTV Programme Director, Matt Born & Head of Production at Betty, Verity Sutton Barrow

Members from our partner companies attended including Christine Corner from Grant Thornton, Richard Lever, Andrew Sturcke and Lian Lockert from Lee & Thompson and Dinah Caine, chief executive of Creative Skillset, the principal funders of the course. Geraldine Atlee from C4, Lisa Cox from Ricochet, Sarah Dillistone from Monkey Kingdom and Andrew Shaw from Attaboy TV were among the 2013 delegates who were there for the award ceremony.

Many of the mentors and key speakers who had helped make the course - Creative Skillset’s flagship leadership and management scheme for senior TV execs – such a success came and showed their support – including Murray Ferguson of Clerkenwell Films, Cat Lewis of Nine Lives Media, John Bates from the London Business School, David Solomon, Liz Brion from Grant Thornton, Stephen McDonogh from BBC Worldwide and Mark Woolley from Ecosse films.

It was also a good chance for the 2013 delegates to meet the delegates from the 2011 course, Ollie Tait from ITV, Dan Cheesbrough from Big Talk Productions and Erica Wolfe-Murray of Lola Media, to learn how the course helped them further their career.

The canapéas provided by the Union Club were delicious mini nibbles from fish & chips to chickpea fritters. Thanks to all who came and made the night so memorable.
