On the 1st February 2017, The Talent Manager team will be attending this years RTS Futures' Ultimate TV Careers Fair which is returning bigger and better than ever, with representatives from across the industry.
This year's fair will be in partnership with Creative Skillset and Edinburgh International Television Festival Talent Schemes. The event will see over 20 exhibitors from across the broadcasting, production and post-production sector come together for the biggest careers fair in television, with expert speakers alongside workshops and masterclasses. In addition, visitors will get the chance to network as well as receive careers advice, interview practice and attend a CV clinic.
“Getting into TV can be difficult. The RTS Futures Ultimate TV Careers Fair helps make critical connections between talented candidates and great employers. It also provides valuable information about the companies that take on trainees, apprentices and interns,” said Donna Taberer, Chair of the RTS Futures committee.
The aim of the event is to showcase the entry-level training schemes and placement opportunities available to those looking to start a career in television and to offer companies which are recruiting the chance to meet young people with aspirations to work in the sector.
