ITV daytime trio Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women are to be produced out of Covent Garden’s The H Club from next January.

The broadcaster has confirmed the location as the permanent home for almost 900 hours a year of the daytime shows after revealing it would cut back their runs, merge their production teams and move production out of Television Centre in White City.

ITV Studios will occupy the lowest two floors of The H Club, in a revamped space that was originally set up in 1992 as a recording studio.

The shows will share a 360-degree set with LED walls helping to achieve a quick turnaround between the live shows and to make full use of the renovated studio’s space.

A high spec remote gallery, supplied by Gravity Media, will produce and broadcast all three live shows, and will be available for other productions.

Previously known as The Hospital Club, the studio and private members club once hosted shows such as BBC1’s Watchdog and Channel 4’s Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back before it closed during the 2020 lockdown.

Around 200 of 450 staff roles across the three shows, plus Lorraine, are expected to be made redundant under the move.

ITN will is taking over production of Lorraine.
