Media / Data Assistant / DIT needed for exciting science and history documentary company
Description
We are looking for hands-on Media / data assistant / DIT to data manage and archive drives and LTOs across our company.
We are overhaluling our tape and drive archive and looking for someone to catalogue our drives , streamline our transfer/ archive and storage systems and archive to LTO . You will have experience working with LTO machines, drive management and if possible catalog systems such as Neofinder.
You will be a whizz on a spread sheet, organised and methodical with a good tech head .
Someone who is Pro-active in research and implementation of new and better media production workflows would also be ideal .
If you have experience of basic Premiere (editing) also a plus.
We are a small independent production company but with a great reputation for science, history , engineering, eco and factual broadcast documentaries. We'd love to bring someone on as soon as possible .
*Dates - Immediate start or July/ early August - length of contract tbc
*Location: Office based as you will be working on drives / LTO machines/ laptops based in our office in Kentish Town.
*Salary depending on experience but this is an entry to mid level position
