Series Producer (Post) - September Start

We are looking for an experienced SERIES PRODUCER to oversee six ‘one-hour’ episodes of a highly acclaimed returning Channel4 medical series through offline to final post.

We’re looking for somebody with an aptitude for shaping material that has a warm and humorous tone and boasting first-class written and communication skills. Despite the occasional playful tone, the content can still be quite sensitive in matter, so somebody that has experience dealing with potential complex access, compliance and a data protection issues would be the right fit for this series.

The Series Producer would need to be confident in overseeing multiple Editor and Edit Producer teams knowing that these teams would be made up of a mixture of Cardiff based and WFH offline couplings, with viewings largely being based out of Cardiff. The role would be working into the Executive Producer for the series but with a strong professional relationship with the Commissioning Editor as well.

We are lucky to have most of our fantastic Edit teams already in place, many of whom are returning to the team for the second series. Please note that by the time this edit starts all filming would have already taken place and this role is solely for a Series Producer to cover post.

DATES: Ideally Mon 26th September through to final post and delivery on Friday 13th January 2023. Currently the plan is for there to be a planned production break for two weeks over Christmas from Mon 19th December. 14 weeks total.
