Senior Video Producer

    We are looking for a lead producer to join our in-house branded content studio. The lead producer who will be responsible for overseeing HearstMade video team and producing high-quality, video content optimized for our site as well as social channels. Candidates should be able to operate in a fast-pace environment and work well with editors, marketing and sales in order to bring editorial concepts to life with video. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a track record of creating exciting and engaging video content across all platforms, including digital, video, social, and experiential. They’ll wear many hats, have an infectious can-do energy, and ultimately will be able to ideate great, on-brand concepts for our diverse portfolio of partners and deliver top-notch execution.


    Responsibilities

    Represent Branded Content team internally and externally, on production and in all client calls/meetings
    Ensure editorial integrity and quality control on all Branded Content copy, including features, scripts, and video
    Work alongside Project Managers, Production, and Video Producers, as well as editorial team, to execute branded content packages that address our partner’s business goals while remaining authentic to the Hearst brands
    Keep multiple, concurrent campaigns on deadline
    Be mindful of performance goals, focused on achieving them, and use key learnings to improve on every campaign
    Pitch video ideas across all verticals — Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle, Design Food and Entertainment
    Field produce shoots and bring video concept to life
    Write scripts for shoots and create mood boards for presale
    Understand digital video strategy for Facebook and Instagram
    Oversee a team of video producers


    Requirements

    5+ years of experience working as a branded content writer or editor, preferably at a media company
    3+ years’ experience managing a team and coaching content creators
    Proven ability to ideate and execute engaging branded and social content a must
    Passionate for editorial integrity, and comfortable steering partners in this direction diplomatically to set them up for success, utilizing data and key learnings when needed
    Excellent organizational and time management skills—ability to perform in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, and think quickly and strategically to meet tight deadlines
    Strong presentation and client relationship skills
    Provide creative expertise on RFPs and new business opportunities with regard to branded content proposals
    Best in class leadership and communication skills when developing and producing projects.
    Ability to see multiple projects as a whole and ensure that all parts are moving well
    Self-motivator and team player
    Manage and meet deadlines
    Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
