The ideal person will be highly organised, have great attention to detail, and be able to work accurately and efficiently with large volumes of material.

You'll play an important role in supporting the production team by logging actuality as it unfolds, identifying key moments, and helping to uncover the stories at the heart of our investigations. You’ll also be require to support the team in contacting contributors post filming and ahead of transmission.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience logging footage on factual, documentary, consumer, or current affairs productions is desirable

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

• Experience of building relationships with contributors. Gaining and maintaining trust and handling relationships sensitively and discreetly.

• Comfortable working with large volumes of media and meeting tight deadlines

• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team

We're seeking a highly motivated PD with outstanding shooting and technical skills to join the next series of Scam Interceptors as one of our “Ground Interceptors”. As well as being technically brilliant, you’ll also be comfortable meeting vulnerable contributors, dealing with victims of crime all whilst being filmed yourself or filming your colleague doing the same. You’ll need credits and proven experience in rigging, lighting and shooting fast moving actuality all whilst keeping one ear on the unfolding storylines. Sound editorial judgement, calmness under pressure and the confidence to direct and get the best out of presenters and contributors are skills essential to the role.

Key Requirements

Proven experience of the latest production techniques and technologies
A great shooter with proven experience on fast moving docs / capturing fast moving actuality
Ability to think on feet- adapting to the changing needs of the shoot.  
Used to dealing with vulnerable contributors and their families.
Happy to be on camera
Willing to work creatively with a tight budget whilst maintaining excellent production values.
Knowledge of BBC editorial guidelines and other compliance policies

You'll be supporting the producer/director in capturing compelling content, supporting investigations, and helping to tell powerful stories that expose scams and help protect the public. There may be times when you’re required to take place of the director so experience of leading shoots essential. 

Key Requirements:
•	Proven experience as a Shooting AP on factual or consumer programming
•	Strong shooting and technical skills – comfortable rigging various types of cameras, sitting across audio feeds and solving             
        technical difficulties           
•	Sound editorial judgement and attention to detail
•	Ability to organise, wrangle and safeguard rushes containing sensitive material 
-       Demonstrable high level of creativity - able to bring fresh new approach and bring out creative ideas in others. ·

This role is offered as a PAYE freelance contract subject to greenlight.

You will play a key role on a small and agile production team. Involving day-to-day management of the series, ensuring robust planning, accurate budgeting and the smooth weekly delivery of content from production through to post-production. 
This role is 3 days per week. 

Key Responsibilities

•	Manage production budget, forecasting and cost reporting, ensuring the series is delivered on budget.
•	Oversee the filming and post-production schedule in a deadline driven environment, ensuring all deliverables are met across audio, visual and digital outputs.
•	Coordinate filming and recording activities.
•	Monitor Health & Safety and sustainability requirements across all production activity.
•	Support commissioning, production set-up and delivery processes.

About You

•	Previous experience working on factual, documentary, podcast or digital content productions.
•	Have multiple credits as a Production Coordinator, with the skills, knowledge and experience to successfully step up into a Junior Production Manager position.
•	Strong budgeting and financial management skills, confident forecasting, reporting and closely managing production spend.
•	Demonstrable knowledge of end-to-end production and post-production workflows across audio, video and digital platforms.
•	Experience managing Health & Safety and sustainability requirements on location and across production.
•	Excellent organisational, communication and project management skills.
•	A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to build strong working relationships while managing competing priorities.
