I am a driven Assistant Producer who discovers and tells unique and compelling stories, reflecting the many faces of our multifaceted society.

I have developed a well-rounded skillset that allows me to confidently set up shoots; cast interesting characters, edit, use strong writing/research skills, and communicate at ease. My background is in factual, fact-ent; competition formats, documentaries (including Science) and development research. I also have experience in sensitive areas, speaking to people in recovery; sex workers, and those with mental health conditions. I have done further training in Duty of Care and Welfare to facilitate this.

I was recently selected to be on the fully funded NFTS Documentary Self Shooting Accelerator Course (2023) where I built on my existing camera skills. I shot, produced and directed my own short documentary, on the Sony FX9. I sourced my own contribs, set up 3 shoots across 3 days, where I independently covered IVs, actuality and GV's, as well as mic'ing up/monitoring and setting up Lights. I can shoot on FS7, FX6, and A7Siii, Go Pro etc.

I was fortunate enough to receive funding by Creative Scotland to learn to shoot for broadcast television in 2021. I was chosen out of over 200 to take part in TRC's Researcher Traineeship with award-winning Glasgow indie, Mentorn/Firecracker in 2019 and my journey began in 2018 when I was selected out of 1000 people to participate in 'The Network' talent scheme.

Outside of work, I like to speak up as a young person from an ethnic minority background working in the TV industry. Most recently, I have been nominated to be on the Royal Television Society Scotland Committee! Over the past few years, I have been invited to speak on TRC media's live panel to encourage and help more young people get into TV. I was featured in Glasgow's bid for Creative Cities in 2020 (which we won)! and have spoken as a panelist on E4’s ‘What Young Audiences Want’ panel, Edinburgh TV Festival 2019. Links below.
