He was PD of the BAFTA Cymru winning BBC1 documentary on Olympic athlete 'Jamie Baulch :Looking for My Birth Mum.' and creator and shooting PD on a film about the last months of a cancer campaigner for BBC1 Wales 'Border of Life and Death' . He was also PD on a 3x 30min presenter led celebrity chat show for BBC1 Wales.
Previously he was producer of 'The Invincibles' Sky Sports (2 x 60 min), field director Everest ER BBC2/4 (1 x 60 min), producer/director/camera/narrator of Earth Reports BBC World ( 5 x 30min), producer director Britain’s Wildest Places Discovery-Animal Planet (1 x 30).
Justyn was creator producer/director of international award winning undercover docs for Channel 4 (3 x 30min ) 'It's a Dog's Life', 'Inside Quarantine' & 'Free as a Bird', and creator PD on 2 observational doc series for Discovery (15 x 30min and 5x 30 min) and a current affairs series for Sky News.
In between broadcast productions has made over a 100 films for corporate, government and charity clients
Justyn trained at City, London (SOAS), and Southampton universities before going on to 6 years as a print journalist on daily newspapers the Western Mail and the Southern Evening Echo followed by national and international television news and current affairs for ITN, APTV, Sky and BBC World.
Justyn was a visiting journalism lecturer at City University School of Journalism and has run media training for over a decade for major organisations such as PwC, Dept of Health, Home Office, Greenpeace, NHS, WWF, Save the Children, National Trust, Friends of the Earth, WaterAid, Sector Skill Council for Retail and high profile individuals. He is married and lives in Cardiff.
