About Me

There isn't enough room on here to tell you everything I can do for you creatively, and you don't want to spend all your time going through pesky CVs, so call me on 07720 893303 and let's take two minutes to figure out if I can help you!

I'm a highly creative writer and producer/development producer working across the factual and enterta... Read More

Rob is brilliant, inventive and most importantly funny writer, always goes the extra mile, understands the style and approach of each comic and is absolute pleasure to deal with.

Christian Knowles, MD of BBAM

Having worked with Rob recently, I found him to be exactly the kind of Producer a Comedy Director needs. Tirelessly optimistic, supportive, creative, unfazeable, talented and, above all, funny. I would work with him again at the drop of a cheque.

Steve Connelly

Rob is a multi talented creative who I have worked with both on Entertainment and Comedy Entertainment shows. He is professional and can turn his hand to many areas of production. He can provide detailed research, produce programme items and can be relied on to look after himself and the jobs he is given. What places Rob above other production members is his wonderful brain. Rob's ideas for format points or items within shows are both creative and off the wall, but he always pitches something different and exciting. He is also a great comedic writer, and I would often use some of the studio links/scripts Rob has written over established writer's ideas. A great all rounder and a nice man to boot.

Andrew Brereton

Rob Cromwell is a funny, charming, unusual man. In development, his maverick qualities combined with a passion for fact-checking and clear, concise writing, were a real advantage in developing the rounds for our 90' BBC TWO quiz All About Two. Rob comes at the world from an unusual perspective and this makes him a refreshing addition to the more run-of-the-mill approach adopted by many in development.

Caroline Wright, Executive Editor, BBC Entertainment

Rob worked with me on the 2nd series of World's Craziest Fools. He was always eager, willing and most of all, able to come up with reams of jokes for people falling off skateboards. More often than not at very late notice. Such was his professionalism and and willingness to take notes and make changes, he soon become lead writer on the show. I think key to this is also that's he's a funny man.
