Goal driven, tenacious, diligent and multi-skilled Assistant Producer. 

I have a First Class Honors TV & Film degree and 10 years experience in the TV broadcast industry. I have worked across a wide range of outputs including: Fact-Ents, Reality, True Crime, Obs-Doc, Development, Live Events and News Broadcast. 

Skills include: - Casting compelling contributors with untold backstories, from all walks of life including children and handling sensitive subjects, cutting tasters, casting tapes, story-finding and managing contributors on location and studio. - Liaising with police forces across the UK; pitching the format to their Press Officers - building professional and trustworthy relationships. - Forward Planning - locations, events, gaining difficult access.  - Archive Research knowledge using archive systems, script / fact checking. - Social Media - writing and tweeting live on Dragons' Den social accounts, updating their BBC One webpage. - Part of the creative team for developing new commissions, quiz shows and pilot shows. - Shooting (FS7, C500, A7), Editing (Avid, Premier), rigging Go Pro's, booming sound, managing kit, wrangling and handling rushes. - Setting up complex shoots including executing a BBC One shoot in Paris where I organised the location, two prestigious contributors, operated lead camera and edited the VT. 

I pride myself on having a varied skillset and I feel that I am interested in trying my hand to new things. I loved working on shows such as The Great Pottery Throw Down, Dragons' Den and A Questions of Sport. All these involved either great story finding, bringing out the best of people's personalities, or being creative - coming up with new ideas, editing and working in a studio. 

Genres that I have never worked on but interest me would be travel / adventure, property and food.
