I am a keen, diligent, and conscientious self-shooting Assistant Producer, with a passion for development, looking to expand on my experience. I would love to work my way up to being Head of Development. I have a BCTJ-accredited Masters in Broadcast Journalism, and I have worked in a number of different roles, from local and national journalism for TV and radio, fact-ent, factual, documentary, music and ob-docs, through to digital media, broadcasting and several development desks.

- Exemplary research and writing skills
- Wide experience in using Adobe Suite Keynote, PowerPoint, Photoshop and Google Slides to create and present decks and pitches
- Experience in pitching original ideas to commissioners from all terrestrial/SVOD channels
- Competent writing interview briefs & questions
- Arranging and securing filming locations in the UK, France, Lebanon, Spain and Morocco
- Shooting and editing sizzle reels for pitches and briefs
- Wide-ranging experience in archive
- Active engagement in webinars, seminars, talks and film festivals
- Experience with finding and booking talent, casting, working and liaising with contributors
- Keen interest in predicting future trends and tastes in television
- Acquiring release forms, live logging, transcribing, fact-checking scripts and phone bashing
- Experience working with extremely sensitive contributors including political refugees
- Technically experienced with a variety of cameras (FS7, C300, A7S and others), mic’ing, boom operating, data wrangling & editing software
- And, importantly with Development in particular - thick-skinned and imaginative. Read Less
